At the age of 17, Carolyn competed Indoors at the ASPCA Maclay and the AHSA Medal National Finals with her all-time favorite horse, Collector's Item. It was a road paved with serious work and dedication.
To qualify for the Maclay National Finals, Carolyn first had to win the Maclay Medal in the Southeast Region. This incredible win qualified her to compete in the Regional Finals, where she won a medal and earned the right to ride Indoors at the National Finals, an event normally held at Madison Square Gardens.
Carolyn's quest for the honor to compete at the AHSA Medal National Finals, held in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania required her to win the AHSA Medal twice in the Southeast Region.
Classically trained in equitation, Carolyn has the foundation to train the horse and the rider for all aspects of the hunter/jumper ring.
She welcomes students who have high goals in the competitive show world and those who ride simply for the love of the animal. Students enjoy her positive teaching style and goal-oriented approach. Those who set their sights on big dreams achieve greatness.
Carolyn and her students have won year end awards every year since she began her business. Below is a small list of the awards she and her students have earned over just the past three years.
